Aug 18, 2007 Firefighters, local residents save horses from Vaughan fire. Kieran Nairn was relaxing, watching some TV when he noticed the smoke. Just after 5 p.m. Thursday, Mr. Nairn, 38, who leases a private horse boarding stable at 8980 Hwy. 27, came out of the farm house and heard fire engine sirens in the distance.
